Danville, August 18, 2026 – The City of Danville and First Fridays invites you to Discover Danville, celebration of culture taking place on Friday, September 4th from 5:00–8:00 PM at Temple Plaza!
Savor samples from local restaurants, explore a variety of local musical performances, prove your knowledge with historic Danville trivia, enjoy the mariachi band while you test your palette in the blind taste-testing competition, and discover the vibrant culture that Danville has to offer! Through food, dance, and music, this event showcases the rhythms and stories that make each one unique.

Danville, August 18, 2026 – On Friday, September 4th from 5:00pm-8:00pm journey downtown to discover a vibrant cultural celebration; Discover Danville!
Roads will close starting at 12:00pm and open at 8:30pm.
Closures will be:
Median at 112 N Vermilion Street to the intersection of North Street and N Vermilion Street.
AND
Intersection of North Street and N Vermilion Street to alleyway of Temple Plaza.
