Danville, August 31, 2026 – National and Nicklas Streets Sanitary Repair
The City of Danville would like to announce a full road closure of National and Nicklas Streets between Main Street and Williams Street for a sanitary sewer manhole placement.
The work is expected to take approximately 4 days to complete. The contractor will begin work on Tuesday September 1st and is expected to have the roadways open to traffic at the end of the day on Friday September 4th weather permitting.
During the construction period motorists are to use alternate routes. The City of Danville appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as the repairs are completed.
