American Legion Post 210 will be conducting their traditional Flag Day Ceremony this coming Friday; where old American Flags needing proper disposal, donated to the post throughout the year in their special collection box out front, are ceremoniously burned in a respectable Flag Day ceremony. Post commander Bob Balla says folks usually start arriving early.

AUDIO: People will show up about 10 o’clock in the morning. We do a honor ceremony, and that takes about maybe 10 minutes at the tops. And then we light the retirement flags.
Friday morning’s Flag Day Ceremony itself, at American Legion Post 210 in Danville, is set to begin at 11 AM.
