THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
Danville Police Officers responded to the 700 block of N. Oak St around 11:00 p.m. on Wednesday 7/10/24 for the report of a subject being stabbed.
When officers arrived they made contact with a 50-year-old male who received a stab wound after an altercation. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
During the investigation, officers identified a suspect as 38-year-old Tanecha Foster of Danville. Officers arrested Foster and she was taken to jail and processed for Aggravated Battery. No further information is being released at this time because the case remains under investigation.
