THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
On Tuesday, 7/30/24 at about 2:00 p.m., Danville Police Officers and Detectives responded to the 400 block of N. Bowman for a 911 call reporting a subject had been shot.
On arrival, officers located a 39-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was later treated and released.
An investigation of the incident found there were several shots fired during the incident. Detectives continue their investigation and are requesting any information the community can provide.
