THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
DANVILLE, Ill. — On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at approximately 4:22 p.m., Danville Police officers responded to a report of a man down and unresponsive in the 400 block of East Williams Street near Stoney Creek.
Upon arrival, officers located a 45-year-old Danville man lying beside the creek. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers observed no obvious signs of trauma or foul play. The Danville Police Department is investigating the incident and awaiting autopsy results from the Vermilion County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause of death.
The man’s identity is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.
The investigation into this incident continues and no other information is being released at this time.
