The Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has identified the victim of an early morning shooting on Saturday, November 29th at Scooter's Bar, located at 1114 East Voorhees Street, in Danville. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Tevin J. Patton of Joplin, Missouri.

After receiving treatment, the male was transported to the Public Safety Building, where he was booked on preliminary charges of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm.

The Vermilion County Coroner's Office has confirmed there is one fatality, in the single vehicle accident on U.S. 150 at the Vermilion - Champaign County line. The accident is reported to have involved one vehicle, with the driver as the only occupant. Identity has not yet been released.
