Danville’s “First Fridays” will be hitting the road outside of Downtown Danville for the first time. February’s “Glow in the Galaxy” event will be held at Illini Skateland; this Friday, February 6th. Danville Community Relations Coordinator Lindsey Franz recently joined Tommy B on D102’s “The Big Show.”
AUDIO: And we’re bringing you free entry with roller skating. You can play laser tag. We’ve got activities planned for you, and it’s all “black light and glowing” themed. So dress for the occasion; wear your best glowing stuff. And Illini Skateland’s a proud host of this event.
There will be all kinds of activities going on, such as face painting; and don’t forget to put your name in for the 7 PM drawing for a brand new pair of skates. Illini Skateland’s Gavin Baugh says they are expecting a bit of a wait for the quite popular laser tag.
AUDIO: That’s going to be free for this event. It is going to be a first come first served type thing. So, if you have to wait in line; you may have to wait in line. We are doing five minute games. So ya!!
Friday night’s “First Fridays” event at Illini Skateland will be 5-8 PM.
Friday is also the night for the annual Peer Court Auction at Turtle Run. Doors open at 6 PM, auction begins at 7 PM.
