THE FOLLOWING IS A HOOPESTON POLICE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
Warrant Arrest Vermilion County, Resisting/Obstructing Peace Officer, Concealing or Aiding a Fugitive

Location: 700 blk E Lincoln
Arrested: Mark Carrillo (M) (65) of Hoopeston; Brandon Young (M) (48) of Hoopeston
Details: HPD officers went to the above location to locate Mr. Carrillo on an outstanding Vermilion County warrant. After several attempts to get someone to open the door, officers saw Mr. Carrillo in an upstairs window. HPD officers made entry into the residence and arrested Mr. Carrillo on his warrant and resisting/obstructing a peace officer. Mr. Young was arrested for concealing or aiding a fugitive. Both subjects were taken to HPD to be processed and later transported to the PSB in Danville to await arraignment.
