When is the Memorial Day ceremony at the VA cemetery in Danville?
The 2026 Memorial Day ceremony will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the cemetery.
It will feature performances by the Danville Municipal Band, guest speakers, placing of the wreaths and taps performed by American Legion Post 210. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, as seating is not available.
Danville National Cemetery is a sacred shrine, and guests are reminded to only park on the roadways, officials state. Vehicles are not permitted to park anywhere on the grass.
The ceremony is expected to last approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
