THE FOLLOWING IS A CITY OF DANVILLE RELEASE
The City of Danville would like to announce the trimming and clearing of vegetation overgrowth along Old Ottawa Road. During this time traffic will be reduced to one lane between 1460 East Road and Denmark Road.
This work is expected to begin at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2nd and is expected to be completed by 4:30 pm on Thursday, September 3rd. This closure will affect motorists and pedestrians traveling both directions through the above specified lane closure.
Expect delays and please choose an alternate route. There will be a high volume of construction traffic during operations. Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution while traveling in the work zone, and to be attentive to the changes in traffic control.
All these events are tentatively scheduled, weather permitting.
