Dirty Honey has shared an acoustic version of its song “Down The Road” as the latest installment of its “Suitcase Sessions” online series. The band launched the series when its plans to travel to Australia to record new music were put on hold due to the pandemic.
The latest clip was shot on a Los Angeles day with the downtown skyline and Dodger Stadium as a backdrop.
Dirty Honey has been writing and demoing new material at its home studio in Los Angeles, with producer Nick DiDia consulting the band via Zoom. The group hopes to record its first full-length album in either Los Angeles or Australia, depending on travel restrictions. DiDia and his studio are based in the latter country's city of Brisbane.
Dirty Honey's independently released debut EP came out last year and featured the Number One rock radio hit “When I'm Gone.”
