Danville Fire Chief Aaron Marcott is reminding everyone that this Saturday is the day for the department’s annual school kids winter coat giveaway. Chief Marcott explains the plans.
AUDIO: The union has a partnership with a company called Operation Warm which delivers coats for young school kids. So, this Saturday November 11th, from 10 to 1, at Fire Station 3 at 1111 North Griffin, they’ll be giving out coats while supplies last. So any school age children are free to come in and grab a coat.
Once again, that’s 10 AM to 1 PM this Saturday, while supplies last, at Danville Fire Station Number 3 on North Griffin.
