THE FOLLOWING IS A CATLIN CHRISTMAS PARADE RELEASE
This coming Sunday, November 26th, will be the 2023 Catlin Festival of Lights and Christmas Parade. Activities planned include:
1 to 4 PM – Christmas Craft Bazaar at Catlin Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Local vendors will offer for sale beautiful Christmas decor items and baked goods.
3 to 5 PM – Free Horse and Carriage Rides in the downtown area.
4 to 6 PM – Community Meal at Catlin Village Hall Community Room. The menu will include chili, hot dogs, desert, popcorn, hot chocolate, and activities for the kids.
5 to 7 PM – Photo Booth at Catlin Methodist Church. Friends and family can take group photos to commemorate the fun at the year’s parade.
4 to 8 PM – Local DJ, Sweet Life Entertainment, will be playing Christmas music outside of Village Hall (weather permitting).
6 to 7 PM – 2023 Village Christmas Parade highlighted by the official arrival of Santa Claus.
7 PM to ? – Children Visit with Santa, Lighting of Christmas Tree, Winners announced for tree decorating, floats and coloring contests.
PLEASE NOTE – For those unable to withstand the cold weather, all of the lighted floats in the parade will return to the parking lot behind Salt Fork High School for viewing from 7 PM – 8 PM.
