The Three Kings of Peace Roselawn Fitness Center, in the old Roselawn School at Gilbert and Roselawn, saw a Sunday (Dec 3rd) open house with lots of people coming and going. Three Kings of Peace members Alderman Ed Butler and Pastor Frank McCullough recently announced their purchase of the center from the retired Chip and Sharron Runyan; and standing in the weight room on Sunday, Chip Runyan said this is exactly what he and Sharron could have hoped for.
AUDIO: (We’re) very happy; the guys are going to do a great job. They’ve had a wonderful group supporting them. And they are so much a part of this community. We are lucky as Danville people to have them continue what Sharron and I absolutely loved doing for our 33 years.”

The hours are now established as 9 AM to 8 PM Monday through Friday, along with some special events scheduled for the weekends. For example, as Ed Butler explains, Demetrious Wade has been providing Saturday and Sunday basketball training.

And Neuhoff Media had a chance to meet chef Shevon Jackson, who will be handling food for the daycare, and the staff.
