The City of Danville has already had their January First Fridays Event, “Fire and Ice;” and they are taking reservations for their February event, “the Folklore Progressive Dinner.” But what about March’s event?
That’s right, the Third Annual DANVILLE’S GOT TALENT will be at the Fischer Theatre on Friday, March 1st. Danville Community Relations Administrator Ashton Greer and Community Relations Coordinator Rheanna Ollis recently joined Tommy B on D102’s THE BIG SHOW. And the theme was, auditions are scheduled for City Hall at 5:30 PM; Thursday, January 18th and Friday, January 19th.
Ashton Greer says the show was even better last year, and she just has a feeling the improvement will continue.
AUDIO: I think last year I was just so blown away, because the first year the talent was great. The next year I feel like it got even better. I had so many people come up to me after the event and say, “I had no idea we had that much talent in Danville.” It was really hard to choose our winners.

This is open to Vermilion County residents. The Third Annual DANVILLE’S GOT TALENT on Friday, March 1st at the Fischer will begin at 6:30 PM. First prize will be $1500, second prize will be $1000, and the third prize and “People’s Choice” award will be $500.
