THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE AREA COMMUNITY COLLEGE RELEASE
DANVILLE – Danville Area Community College (DACC) is excited to invite community members to the first-ever Alumni & Faculty Reunion, an exclusive event bringing together alumni, retirees, and current faculty and staff. The event is scheduled for Thursday, May 2, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at the Vermilion River Beer Company located at 201 N. Vermilion, Danville.
Kickstarting the event at 4:00 PM will be a lively performance by the DACC Pep Band, setting an upbeat tone for the evening. Attendees may enjoy a variety of snacks while reconnecting with friends, classmates, and favorite professors in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
This reunion is a unique opportunity for the DACC and Danville Junior College (DJC) communities to celebrate the achievements and contributions of our alumni and retirees. The highlight of the evening will be the recognition ceremony for retirees and the announcement of nominees for the prestigious Distinguished Alumnus Award.
In addition to great music and company, there will be door prizes to add an extra element of excitement to the festivities. Whether you’re looking to reminisce about the old days, catch up on recent developments, or simply enjoy a pleasant evening out, this event promises something for everyone.
“We are excited to host this inaugural reunion event at VRBC,” said Lara Conklin, Executive Director of College Relations. “It’s a wonderful chance for our community to come together, celebrate our shared history, and build new memories. We look forward to welcoming back our alumni and acknowledging the incredible contributions of our faculty and retirees.”
Don’t miss this opportunity to reunite with the DACC family in a fun and festive setting. Mark your calendars and join us for what promises to be a memorable evening.
