THE FOLLOWING IS A VERMILION VOLES RELEASE
The Vermilion Voles Vintage Base Ball Club will be holding an open practice at Kennekuk County Park on Sunday May 5 at 1:00PM. Anyone
interested is welcome to attend.
The Voles club is entering its 21st season in 2024. Team members play ball as documented in 1858. Men and women, ages 13 and older, are encouraged to play. Along with honoring the early evolution of ball playing in America, vintage base ball is great exercise and an excellent way to have fun and meet new people.
The Voles play a schedule of matches from June through October. The club hosts other teams at Kennekuk County Park and travels for games throughout the region.
The practice on May 5 will be held at the Voles’ home field which is located along the Kennekuk County Park main road across from the Ironwood Springs Lake Mingo Boat Access parking area.
