BRAD PITT’S INTRODUCTION TO SCIENTOLOGY: When Brad Pitt was dating Juliette Lewis in the 1990s, he dabbled in Scientology, according to a report in The Sun. A source says he went through “purification” rituals in a sauna with a 15-year-old girl supervising, and got into a fight with his supervisor, who has since left the Church. Michael Mallen told The Sun of the process: “The ‘coach’ tries to get the student to react by pushing the student’s ‘buttons’. That’s what I did with Brad Pitt. I did it mercilessly, insulting the s–t out of him. His then girlfriend Juliette Lewis was there. He got so pissed off, he walked out of the trailer and just split. Juliette had to rescue him; he just needed to cool off. I guess no one had bullbaited him before. I was going pretty hard on him, but that’s the whole point, to get the person where they’re no longer reacting and can comfortably be there.” Pitt eventually left the Church and split with Lewis.

CHEER COACH MONICA ALDAMA SPEAKS OUT: Monica Aldama, the coach of the hit Netflix docuseries Cheer, is speaking out after Jerry Harris was arrested on federal child pornography charges. In a statement, she said: “My heart is shattered into a million pieces. I am devastated by this shocking, unexpected news. Our children must be protected from abuse and exploitation, and I’m praying hard for the victims and everyone affected.”
VIVICA A. FOX & GUILIANA RANCIC TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19: It was announced yesterday that actress Vivica A. Fox and E! star Giuliana Rancic have both tested positive for COVID-19. Both pulled out of hosting E!'s Live From the Red Carpet Emmys Pre-Show because of the diagnosis. Rancic announced the news in a video message during the Emmy's pre-show. Vivica released a statement, which was read on air by Brad Goreski, who stepped in to co-host the show with Nina Parker. Vivica said, “I am terribly sorry I cannot be with my E! family tonight! Unfortunately, I have tested positive for the coronavirus. So, in an abundance of caution, I am isolating myself at home.”
