The school board this week unanimously signed off on making "Lou Hinkle Court" the new name of the high school gym floor, honoring the local legend who died in April at age 73.

For the first time in 14 years, the Dans will have a new field manager, as Eric Coleman is not returning to Danville. Taking the reins is Cameron Gross, who is an assistant at IU Columbus. He's previously coached summer ball in Florida and played in the Prospect League as a Kokomo Jackrabbit.

Also planned for that same weekend (the first weekend of Summer Vacation), is a YOUTH SUNDAY for youth of all ages; on Sunday, May 31st. The day begins with a Sunday Service at 9 AM at the Danville YMCA. Those who attend the service will be provided entry to a Youth Skate Party at Illini Skateland, from 4 to 6 PM.
