THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT RELEASE
A burning ban has been issued for the City of Danville; 12 Noon Monday, February 26th through 8 AM Wednesday, February 28th.
The burn ban does not apply to charcoal or gas grills used for cooking, although extra safety precautions should be taken.
Strong gusty winds of 30 – 40 MPH are expected to arrive Monday afternoon, and will persist through Wednesday.
