THE FOLLOWING IS A DANVILLE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA RELEASE
Join the DSO on Saturday, March 9th for an evening of music inspired by the Hispanic world, featuring renowned classical recording artist and scholar, Rochelle Sennet, in a virtuoso piano performance of Manuel de Falla’s Nights in the Gardens of Spain – Noches en los Jardines de España. Other works featured in this program are Bernstein’s Mambo!, Bizet’s Carmen Suite No. 1, Debussy’s Iberia, and Márquez’s Danzón No. 2.

DSO Music Director Candidate Maestro Richard Zielinski will return to the podium to conduct “¡Noche Hispana!” Following the concert, there will be a meet and greet with the Maestro along with light refreshments.
