Dr. Fletcher stated that by the end of 2025-26 academic year, the average DACC instructor was teaching an average overload of 70 credit hours per semester, with one individual coming in at a campus high of 227 hours.

District 118 Director of Finance Todd Pence stated that due to some teacher salaries that are now covered by grants; the budget deficit, once projected to be around $7 million, is now down to around $1.3 million. Expenses are projected in the low $107 million, while revenues are projected in the upper $105 millions.

Combined, the figures represent more than $12.8 million in property tax revenue diverted from District 118 through Danville and Tilton TIF districts over the life of those TIF districts. And the financial impact on schools will continue to compound yearly.
